This is the #12 Race for the 50 Ability Marathons Team. The Covenant Health Knoxville Marathon will be ran on Sunday, April 7th at 7:30 a.m. This course should be an enjoyable one for everybody, winding through some of Knoxville Tennessee’s beautiful scenery which will include many of the city’s fine neighborhoods. Knoxville has a rich history, first being settled in 1786 and being the first capital city of Tennessee. Some might be more familiar with Knoxville because they hosted the 1982 World’s Fair there, while still other are followers of their sports teams called the “Volunteers” of the University of Tennessee. Either way, Knoxville is a great town and this weekend will soon prove to be a great event.
